Some disadvantages of inverter ac – what to purchase
Here are all the disadvantages which you would have to keep in mind while purchasing an inverter air conditioner.

List of the Disadvantages of Inverter Air Conditioner

Summers are quite harsh for the ones living in Pakistan, considering the climate and heat stroke levels. Considering all these things, having an air conditioner which at one point was no less than a luxury has now become a necessity as the level of temperature keeps on rising every year.

Therefore, summer is the time during which people run towards the markets to buy an air conditioner. Talking about which, inverter AC has now become more preferable by the public because of its new features and the promising budget friendly utility expenses that come along with it. They keep the temperature low while keeping your wallet heavy.

However, not a lot of individuals are aware of what an inverter air conditioner is, and what are the disadvantages of inverter AC

Disadvantages of Inverter AC

  • One known fact about inverter AC is that they are expensive, hence, an inverter AC would cost you almost 25% to 30% higher expense while purchasing as compared to the non-inverter AC.

  • The circuitry system used in an inverter AC is very sophisticated and has a lot of tangible parts which is why the upkeep expenses for an inverter AC are relatively higher.

  • The compressor used in an inverter AC works according to the heat load in space, therefore, the risk of increased power intake in case of leakage of cooling and it to run on a higher speed is not favorable.

  • The level of cooling that an inverter AC produces depends upon heat load rendering which is not sufficient for dehumidification if the temperature that is set is extremely low.

  • In case of the inverter AC having lower cooling capacity than what is required, the compressor tends to work at a better speed for longer duration which would ultimately increase the power usage.

  • Due to some programmed lag, the compressor paces over almost at the speed which is wanted, as there is a set requisite time in which an inverter AC has to achieve the desired level of cooling.

  • If you are planning to work the air conditioner by switching it on and off again and again, inverter ACs are not the right choice for you as this reduces their efficiency level.

Where there is still a lot of space left in which air conditioners have to take lead and work on how they take control of the environment, there is no doubt that the inverter ACs take us one step closer to achieving that target. This completes our list of all the disadvantages of inverter AC, however, there are some advantages and pros that come along with it too.
