Windstream Speed test is a service provided by Windstream Communications Inc., a subsidiary of AT&T Corporation. Through this service, customers can check their connection speed at any time without having to pay additional fees for data usage. To use this service, a customer subscribes to the service called DataConnect, which provides unlimited data usage. Once the customer connects his/her device to the internet, he/she will receive a pop-up message informing him/her of the current download speed. If the user wishes to view detailed information regarding the speed, s/he may click on the link provided in the popup message. A page will appear displaying various information including the current download speed.
