T-cell lymphomas are a group of rare and aggressive cancers that arise from the T-cells, a type of white blood cell that plays a critical role in the immune system. T-Cell Lymphoma can affect different parts of the body, including the skin, lymph nodes, bone marrow, and internal organs. They are often difficult to diagnose and treat, and can have a poor prognosis. However, with recent advancements in technology and research, new applications and features are being developed to improve the diagnosis, treatment, and management of T-cell lymphomas. Certain viral infections, such as the human T-cell lymphotropic virus type 1 (HTLV-1) infection, can increase the risk of developing T-cell lymphoma. People with autoimmune diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis or lupus, have a higher risk of developing T-cell lymphoma. Exposure to certain chemicals, such as pesticides and solvents, may increase the risk of developing T-cell lymphoma.
