A Rise in Bitcoin after Tweet of Elon Musk
After Elon Musk, the TESLA boss, said that the carmaker will be restarting transactions with cryptocurrency once the mining is carried out with more of clean energy.
Bitcoin was at $39,209.54, which was the largest gain since 9th June 2021.
The CEO tweeted that when there was a confirmation of usage of clean energy by the miners with a future trend that was positive, Tesla would resume transaction of bitcoins. This was after the chief executive Sygnia criticized Musk for the manipulation of the price of Bitcoin. Musk added that Tesla had managed to sell 10% of the holdings, confirming that liquidating bitcoin was easy without the moving market.
With the recent jump, the market cap of bitcoin was pushed to $733 billion, or more than 45% of the cryptocurrency market cap in total. Even with this push, Bitcoin is still considered down as compared to an all time high of $64,778.04.
On the 14th of June, Ether, Binance coin, climbed high. Binance coin was up to almost 4.69% at $365.26 and Ether, to 3.83%, to $2502.70.
The tweets of Elon Musk are known for the pronouncements on cryptocurrency. He has managed to amass a good fan base in the crypto market using the social media, Twitter.
