The City Premium has a conventional 6-speed Shimano gear system, so you can ride like a regular bike without using the motor. But when you're ready for some assistance, simply turn on the motor and GO!
You have the power of 5 levels of pedal assist, paired with a thumb throttle. You can use these drive modes together, so you can find the sweet spot for every riding situation.
And rest assured that if you engage the hydraulic disc brakes (160mm rotors) the automatic motor cutoffs will kick in, so there will be no fighting the motor to stop with authority.
The City Premium features a beautiful 6061 aluminum alloy frame and magnesium alloy rims, which give them an innovative look while eliminating the problem of rusting and out-of-true steel spokes.
