In the last week, just hours before the upgraded Runelite HD was due for an official release The 117 team was contacted Jagex OSRS Gold, demanding that work cease immediately and that the release be canceled. However, this time it's not due solely to copyright concerns, but rather because Jagex says they're making the own HD upgrade.
Although it sounds fair initially it's actually a major problem. Runelite HD doesn't actually seem to violate any of Jagex's modifications guidelines. In fact, the company claims that new guidelines which clarify the fact that Runelite HD does actually break the guidelines will be announced next week.
Mod creator 117 claims they tried to reach a compromise with Jagex, even offering to remove their mod once the company was finished and released their own efforts however "they did not accept it," seemingly spelling the end of an endeavor that has consumed "approximately more than 2000 hours over two years."Few games have experienced the same longevity as RuneScape. Despite the most recent update, RuneScape 3, having stunning graphics typical of an up-to-date MMO many players have remained loyal to its 2000s version, Old School RuneScape. Additionally, Jagex has maintained its servers and continues to roll out changes and other events despite being (at least of the surface) much lower in quality than the 3rd MMO that is part of the same series.
Today, Jagex continues with its long-term plans for Old School RuneScape. 11 years since its launch and the God Wars Dungeon storyline is close to a conclusion, with its final boss added as an expansion later this week.
The God Wars Dungeon isn't going anywhere just yet But it's heading towards its conclusion with introduction of its final enemy: Nex The General. Since she's the final enemy in a plotline that's more than a decade in development and taking her down isn't going to be an easy task in OSRS Gold For Sale any way.
