As the pride of Africa, KQ's fleet wears the Kenyan colors with great reverence. It has 4 types of Boeing 787-8 – Dreamliner, 737-800, 737-700 and 737-300f. All aircraft have a different number of seats for Economy Class and Premier World passengers.
There are also 15 Embraer E190s available with an adjustable in-seat touch screen and a seat width of 38" for Premier World and 31" for Economy.
Once you have booked your ticket with Kenya Airways booking, you can use the flight confirmation email sent to you to find out which aircraft you will fly on.

Free checked baggage is allowed
It really depends on the class you fly as well as the flight route. Currently, the exemption limit from Africa to the US for business class is a maximum of 2PCs 32kg/70lbs per passenger and for economy passengers a maximum of 2PCs 23kg/50lbs.

Hand luggage is allowed
On Business Class routes, 2 bags with one accessory are allowed with a total weight of 18 kg/39 lbs.
In Economy Class, 1 piece of luggage and 1 accessory with a total weight of 12 kg/26 lbs is allowed on all routes.)

Reading materials, pens, inflight entertainment and headphones are not currently provided on any flights due to restrictions. Additionally, KQ advises guests to bring their own blankets on board as these are only available on certain long haul Premier World Class routes.
