Click the name of the section you want to open in OneNote for web. OneNote will inform you when the section is password protected. You can either press the Enter key on the keyboard or click the message using your mouse. Enter the password to unlock the section when prompted.
OneNote will create an entry in the cache memory if OneNote is open even when it goes into standby mode. This prevents the user losing any data. OneNote may not be able to open properly after you exit Sleep Mode. OneNote will search for cache user credentials. If they attempt to authenticate, OneNote will not connect. office.com/setup
