In college, one of my most cherished escapes during and after classes was playing the NBA 2K franchise and, specifically career mode. I invested hours in each iteration of the game for a long period of years, regardless of whether it was as a guard for the Heat or Lakers or Cheap NBA 2K MT in another part of the league.
