So long as you aren't sucked into the FOMO of hurrying to the endgame, the game is very informal and Lost Ark Gold fun. Just be aware that this is a game that is very linear therefore the majority of players will be chilling at the endgame areas as the first game is filled with bots. Therefore, you might find yourself feeling lacking in these areas.
I've not played GW2. however, I've heard that it's one that is very horizontal-focused, which is the complete contrast to Lost Ark. There are plenty of activities for those who don't wish to climb up the vertical ladder but the horizontal aspect tends to be extremely shallow for Lost Ark.
Comparing to FF14. The story of Lost Ark and its world aren't even a match. If you're a fan of story, world, and immersion then Lost Ark isn't the game for you. Combat is where this game shines.
Addressing the specific MMOs listed in the following paragraphs:
PSO2 NGS just doesn't do it anymore for me. Classic was more fun for me. Yes, NGS is adding more material that's great however, timed trials don't appeal to me as an endgame in the present. Class design, I thought that I would like it which I enjoyed for a short time however, it's not as enjoyable as it once was. However, the customization has definitely improved although there are some limits for me. My personal endgame was to create the biggest, most offensive CAST that I could and...I achieved it, which is a shame, as developers would rather create clothes for meat bags instead of stunning CAST parts.
WoW...bah...I have too many issues with it. I'm sick of borrowing power and the deterioration of class design because of it. I'm bored of the boring writing, and I'm not the most enthusiastic about the sole content with apparent effort being the raids , and some Dungeons. PvP always seems to be an afterthought and best place to buy Lost Ark Gold mythic plus grind hasn't been as entertaining as it was in the past, and I'm not content with the content that is horizontal anymore.
