NEET UG 2022 Re-Exam: NTA Guidelines, What To Carry To The Exam Centre

In addition to the impacted applicants from two centers in Rajasthan, two in Madhya Pradesh, and one in Uttar Pradesh, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has granted permission to a candidate from Kollam to retake the exam (there was an incident in the city where female candidates were forced to remove their inner wear in the name of frisking)

The NEET exam saw a 95% attendance rate and was administered as a paper and pencil test on 17th July 2022. The official answer keys for the exam have been released and students have a brief time window to raise objections (if any). The official results are expected by 7th September 2022.

NTA Guidelines for NEET UG 2022

·         Medical aspirants must submit a self-declaration form, which reveals their health status, along with their NEET UG 2022 admission card.

·         Additionally, candidates for UG medical programs must attach a colored 4 x 6-inch photo or a postcard-sized photo in order to be admitted to the NEET exam.

·         Candidates will also need to submit their NEET UG admit cards in addition to the NEET OMR sheets.

NEET UG 2022 Dress Code / Items Allowed

·         Only half-sleeved tops or garments are permitted.

·         Clothing with intricate stitching, flowers, brooches, large buttons, and other embellishments are not permitted.

·         Big-pocket clothing and trendy jeans are not approved.

·         Leggings are not permitted for NEET female students in NEET 2022.

·         As per NTA NEET dress code, low heels, sandals, or chappals are permitted.

·         Female applicants should refrain from wearing jewelry such as earrings, nose rings, pendants, necklaces, bracelets, and anklets.

·         It's also forbidden to wear watches, wristwatches, bracelets, cameras, jewelry, and other metallic goods.

·         If a candidate wears cultural or customary clothing for the exam, they should arrive at least an hour before the last reporting time.

·         Only female employees will frisk the female candidates, who will be in a secluded area.

The NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) is a national level entrance exam for admission into MBBS and BDS courses in India. The exam is conducted by the NTA (National Testing Agency) and saw more than 18 lac applicants this year.
