Sania Mirza Retirement: Sania Mirza will retire from tennis, will play the last match of her career in Dubai Championship

India's star female tennis player Sania Mirza has announced her retirement. Sania, who reached to play Australian Open, has said that after this year's Australian Open and Dubai Tennis Championship, she will say goodbye to tennis at the age of 36. The WTA 1000 event in Dubai will take place next month in February.

Sania said in an interview to a media channel, “I had made a retirement plan last year itself. But due to right elbow injury, the name had to be withdrawn from the US Open and other tournaments. I am a person who lives on my own terms. That's why I didn't want to be out due to injury and am training now. I have now planned to retire after the Dubai Tennis Championship."
