Cubicle workplaces are rigid because they confine employees to their designated workspaces. This is unfortunate because different types of venues are required to hold private conversations, cooperate with coworkers, and meet with clients and business partners. Instead, office space needs to be constructed to accommodate the changing requirements of company. Businesses must design workplaces that take into account the need for private phone calls, the need to communicate and host clients and vendors, and the fact that new team members need to be close to coworkers who will be involved in their day-to-day operations.
