Circuit Breakers And Fuses Designed To Protect A Specific Device From Over Current
Circuit Breakers and Fuses are electrical devices that guard against the possibility of a power outage caused by overloading or tripping a circuit in a building or other structure.

The electrical power system uses three different sorts of devices: circuit breakers, fuses, and relays. Other than Circuit Breakers and Fuses which open an intentional interruption in the electric circuit when either an overload occurs for brief periods of time (a few milliseconds) or faults occur that would be dangerous if they were not interrupted quickly. Circuit Breakers and Fuses are designed to protect a specific device from over current or voltage conditions by opening an intentional interruption in the electric circuit. A fuse functions as an automatic safety switch with low resistance properties, such as wire, a glass tube filled with metal ions like copper oxide, etc.; it interrupts electrical circuits before any damage can occur and may also put out flames without interrupting the circuit. Relay takes part in the switching process to regulate a power circuit's current and voltage.
