It's no surprise that the game is big. It's apparent Jagex isn't done with updating Gielinor. There's a myriad of new software, with the most recent one being RuneScape Mobile, which launches on the 17th of June.
It was terrifying to go back to RuneScape's Grand Exchange and see people wearing armor and wielding swords which looked like they could summon god-killing power and smash my golden dragon armour and abyssal whip (that'd be impressive if you were playing back in the day and teen years).
The menus also differed, though it turns out the nice people at Jagex created a variety of assistance for players who are old and included a Legacy menu mode. In another nod to old players, I ecstatic to learn that when I visited Lumbridge and talked to Hans, an iconic NPC from the beginning that he would reward me with the option of a five, 10-, or 15-year old veteran's cape. The 15-year cape is something to behold; it has fire burning the at the bottom.
When I was overwhelmed, I made the decision to make a permanent ambition of mine: to master the art of firemaking. Learning to master a skill takes long hours of repeated motions to achieve level 99 (now 120 in a variety of skills) The process gives you the coveted cape of a master. The cape is cut. It's bright.
It represents every skill, and it comes with a matching hood. My brother as well as a close friend -- who claimed to be an mage with a lot of power--also took part in the MMO enjoyment, and after having a second look around the RuneScape universe (and continually reminding me and Cheap RS Gold my fellow players on our Discord message that I'm the strongest among us), it was time to get to work.
