surah Naml meaning

The subject of Surah an naml and its main focus is like the rest of the Makkian Surahs of the Noble Quran, where Surat an naml dealt with the subject of belief in terms of belief in Allah Almighty alone and His monotheism and singling out worship and worshiping Him as the right of worship.

In addition to belief in the Last Day and its reward for believers and punishment for unbelievers, belief in the revelation that came from Allah To his prophets and messengers, belief in the unseen, and belief that Allah alone is the Creator and Provider

Sourate al naml dealt with many of the stories that were mentioned with the aim of establishing the goals and objectives of the surah, depicting the consequences of the deniers.

And clarifying the consequences for the believers. So al naml mentioned an episode of the story of the Prophet of Allah, Moses, peace, and blessings be upon him, with his people, specifically the place where he saw the fire after his return from Madyan and his calling from the Highest and Allah speaking to him.

Since it was from that point that he began to assign him the message to convey it to Pharaoh and his people, and the surah also dealt with the story of Allah prophets David and Solomon, peace and blessings be upon them, and indicated the blessings that Allah bestowed upon them.

Sourate al Naml mentioned the story of Solomon, peace, and blessings are upon him, with the Naml, his story with the hoopoe, and his story with the Queen of Sheba, Bilqis.

The surah Naml also talked about the story of the Prophet of Allah, Salih, peace, and blessings of Allah be upon him, and the deception of his people, and about the Prophet of Allah, Lot, peace and blessings be upon him, and his people’s perpetration of immorality.

Moreover, his attempt to advise them and what he suffered for the sake of I called them to Allah to believe in Him alone and leave the gods they used to worship besides Allah, but they met Him with threats, so Allah destroyed them with what they did in a story known details as it was explained in many of the Holy Quran surahs.

At the end of al naml, after quoting and explaining the previous stories, I dealt with some evidence that point to the existence of Allah Almighty, and his great ability to create the heavens and the earth, rivers, and mountains, which proves his oneness and deserving of worship because he is unique in creation and creation.

Surah Naml story

The Noble Qur’an is the constitution of all Muslims. In it are stories that Allah made us consider. The Almighty says: {Indeed, there was a lesson in their stories}.

Among the stories in the Qur’an are the stories of animals and insects that show Allah’s grace and power, Glory be to Him. Here are the ants, that tiny, delicate creature that has set an example of Allah’s power, and Allah made in it the story of the Naml Ants” with His Prophet Solomon upon him and upon our Prophet, the best of prayers and peace, lessons and lessons.

Allah Almighty has bestowed many blessings upon our master Solomon upon him and upon our Prophet, the best of prayers and peace. Including that he subjected humans, jinn and birds placed them under his command and taught him the language of birds and animals of different types.

And the story of the ant with the Prophet of Allah Solomon is a strange matter. Our master Solomon gathered his soldiers one day from humans, jinn, birds, and beasts and ordered them to walk in regular rows, and during their walk, they passed a valley inhabited by naml “ants“.

In addition to the naml “ants” were busy in their tasks except for an ant who stood watching the scene of the progress of the Prophet of Allah Solomon, peace be upon him. and his soldiers, and when they approached the homes of the ants, the ant shouted to her sisters, the ants,

“حَتَّىٰ إِذَا أَتَوْا عَلَىٰ وَادِ النَّمْلِ قَالَتْ نَمْلَةٌ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّمْلُ ادْخُلُوا مَسَاكِنَكُمْ لَا يَحْطِمَنَّكُمْ سُلَيْمَانُ وَجُنُودُهُ وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ”

Here, the power of Allah and the knowledge that He taught to His Prophet was manifested. Our master Solomon, peace be upon him, heard the conversation between the naml “ant” and its sisters, and understood what the naml “ant” meant.

So he smiled laughing at what she said, then ordered his soldiers to walk slowly, until the ants enter his homes and do not get hurt, then our master raised Solomon, upon him and upon our Prophet, may blessings and peace be upon him, his hands to heaven, thanking Allah Almighty for His many blessings.

And Allah Almighty has mentioned this amazing story in the Noble Qur’an in a Surah called Surah al naml.

And the story of the al naml on its palace, but sets an example of a positive Ant, a brave ant, that could have escaped alone and entered its hole, but it was the first ant that saw the army before other ants, so she feared for her nation, she did not live for herself, although she could have died under feet She calls out for the naml “ants”, but she sacrifices for the sake of others, and that is why our master Solomon smiled.

It also includes an exaltation of the worship of thanksgiving for the blessings of Allah that He bestows upon us, and this was evident in our Master Solomon’s gratitude to Allah Almighty that he taught him the logic of birds and the languages of all animals, and that was a reason for preserving their lives and the architecture of the earth.
