Morning Mist was the color we received for testing, and it’s an interesting one— almost a shiny finish with a foggy look on one side of the phone. The device does have a design that makes it stand out.
Actually, we couldn’t help but wonder if the Morning Mist’s metal finish, with its mega-luxurious looks, is slowly moving into Samsung territory. But this is an OnePlus phone through and through, with the OnePlus notification toggle taking center stage.
The OnePlus 9 series screen has received a lot of attention from the OnePlus development team. In terms of display, the OnePlus 9 Pro has a lot to offer. This phone’s refresh rate can be adjusted from 1Hz to 120Hz based on what you’re doing. It is also a practical thing to do because you don’t need the 120Hz all of the time, and especially if you’re looking at anything static, 1Hz will suffice. In bright lighting conditions, the phone performs admirably well, and even under this year’s unusually bright March sky, we were able to get by with half the light.
There’s more to this display than what meets the eye. OnePlus has also introduced a Hyper Touch feature to offer gamers a much faster response time. Along with the beautiful screen, there’s loud and clear audio, good enough for watching movies and winning games. But the Hasselblad camera is definitely the OnePlus 9 Pro’s best selling point for us. OnePlus is now relying solely on Hasselblad’s software expertise to develop what has always been a capable camera. The effects now are more natural— more iPhone-like.

For those who have an older OnePlus smartphone model, we strongly recommend this handset. The users are sure to note a significant improvement in experience and features, especially when it comes to the camera and screen. It is also a decent choice for those who want a high-end Android phone but don’t want to spend a lot of money. Many who use their phone for serious photography and video work may find it to be a good choice with natural results.
The OnePlus 9 Pro has a lot going for it. This is one of the best Android flagship models available in the market, and there aren’t many devices to choose from in the price bracket where the OnePlus 9 Pro is priced.
